Staff Engineer, Storage Control Plane

Design and build the control plane for CoreWeave's AI storage platform.

• •CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Storage Engineer to design, build, and operate the control plane for their high-performance AI storage platform.
• •You will evolve storage systems by building reliable, scalable, and high-throughput solutions for AI workloads.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and implement a highly scalable multi-tenant control plane for AI storage and cloud infrastructure.
• •Contribute to exabyte-scale object storage, distributed file systems, and integrate dedicated storage clusters.
• •Optimize storage performance and efficiency using technologies like RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, SPDK.
• •Improve the reliability, durability, and observability of the storage stack.
• •Collaborate with operations teams to monitor, analyze, and optimize storage systems.
• •Requirements 10+ years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
• •Strong hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems (e.g., Ceph, DAOS).
• •Proficiency in a systems programming language such as Go, C++, or Rust.
