Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure

Build and maintain core infrastructure for a global financial platform.

• •Stripe is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Core Infrastructure team in Sydney, Australia.
• •This role involves building and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that powers all of Stripe's product teams, ensuring industry-leading scale, availability, efficiency, and latency.
• •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain distributed cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• •Scale, automate, and improve the reliability and observability of infrastructure services.
• •Operate and debug services, providing support to internal customers.
• •Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization.
• •Requirements 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• •Experience building and managing infrastructure on major cloud providers.
• •Strong background in platform services and/or distributed systems at scale.
• •Experience developing, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems.
