Build backend and full-stack systems enabling AI-powered scientific research workflows.

• •Build platforms, products, and infrastructure powering AI-native scientific research workflows across backend, data pipelines, and user-facing experiences within Codex.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and implement backend systems and full-stack product experiences for scientific workflows.
• •Develop AI-native workflows for literature review, paper writing, and research synthesis.
• •Partner with researchers and domain experts to translate needs into trustworthy product capabilities.
• •Build tools for data analysis, simulations, and computational experiments.
• •Own systems end-to-end from architecture to production operations.
• •Requirements Strong backend or full-stack engineering fundamentals and production experience.
• •Experience building scalable distributed systems or data-intensive applications.
• •Comfortable in ambiguous 0→1 environments and rapid iteration.
• •Strong communication across engineering, research, and product teams.
