Principal Data Platform Architect - Data Engineering, Applied Field Engineering

Provide technical leadership and architect Snowflake data platform solutions to support sales and customer implementation.

• •Senior solutions architect in Applied Field Engineering providing technical leadership for Snowflake cloud data platform across sales cycles, demos, proofs-of-concept, and architecture design.
• •Key Responsibilities Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical stakeholders.
• •Work hands-on with customers for demos, proofs of concept, and implementation guidance.
• •Develop reference architectures across ingestion, transformation, and lakehouse workloads.
• •Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve offerings.
• •Requirements 10+ years in architecture and data engineering within enterprise data. 5+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering roles.
• •Hands-on development with SQL, Python, Pandas, Spark/PySpark and big data tools.
• •Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Fivetran, Matillion, Informatica) and streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, Kinesis).
