Robotic Software Engineer, Perception

Develop and integrate AI/ML sensor algorithms for autonomous vehicles.

• •Applied Intuition is seeking a Robotic Software Engineer specializing in Perception to develop, integrate, and maintain real-time sensor software solutions for autonomous vehicles across various domains.
• •You will work with a team to continuously add capability and demonstrate solutions to customers in real-world scenarios.
• •Key Responsibilities Develop, integrate, and adapt AI/ML algorithms for the perception autonomy stack.
• •Create interfacing software to autonomously control sensors (e.g., EO, IR, acoustics, radar, RF).
• •Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless deployment of heterogeneous platform swarms.
• •Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices and collect performance data.
• •Interact with DoD customers to understand use cases and triage needs during field events.
• •Requirements MS or PhD in a relevant field or 5+ years of experience with sensor algorithms and hardware integration.
• •Experience with multiple sensor modalities (e.g., EO, IR, lidar, radar, sonar, acoustics).
• •Experience training and deploying ML algorithms (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow) onto integrated systems (ONNX, C++ models).
