About the role

Drive acquisition, expansion, and renewals of startup customers for Cloudflare.

  • Sell Cloudflare solutions to high-growth, venture-backed digital-native startups in Austin or Chicago, driving new logo acquisition, expansion, and renewals through technical and executive engagement.
  • Key Responsibilities Develop and execute territory plans to exceed quota and sales targets.
  • Drive new business acquisition, customer expansion (upsell/cross-sell), and renewals.
  • Build pipeline via AE outbound, BDR, channel, and marketing inbound.
  • Leverage technical understanding to run consultative sales and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain strategic relationships to ensure adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Requirements Proven experience in B2B/enterprise sales or account executive roles targeting startups.
  • Ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders across Security, Network, and Infrastructure.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and quota attainment skills.
  • Experience with consultative selling, contract negotiations, and multi-threaded account strategies.
