Staff Software Engineer - Detection and Response Platform

Build and operate Verkada's detection and response infrastructure and SIEM integrations.

• •The Staff Software Engineer will build, operate, and improve Verkada's Security Monitoring, Detection, and Response infrastructure, partnering with the security team and CISO to grow the security program.
• •Key Responsibilities Build and operate detection and response infrastructure and SIEM integrations Onboard systems to SIEM and tune alerts for high signal Automate data enrichment, ETL pipelines, and incident response workflows Facilitate incident response exercises and collaborate with cross-functional teams Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent 7-10+ years engineering/security/SRE experience Experience with AWS and building scalable cloud products Proficiency in Go or Python and familiarity with CI/CD and IaC Experience designing high-throughput ETL pipelines
