Sr. Software Engineer I, Cloud Security Platform

Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Security Platform focusing on governance and security.

• •Samsara is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their Cloud Governance Platform team.
• •This team is responsible for building foundational platforms that enforce governance, identity security, compliance, and software supply-chain protections across all of Samsara's cloud infrastructure and developer environments.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and build core components of Samsara's Cloud Governance Platform.
• •Contribute to the roadmap for governance and security tooling across AWS and GCP.
• •Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into automated, continuously enforced controls.
• •Build and maintain software supply-chain security tooling.
• •Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, and Product Engineering teams.
• •Requirements 4+ years of industry experience in software development.
• •Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• •Strong programming/coding and design fundamentals (Golang, Python or similar).
