Senior Mobile Engineer for Verkada's Alarms product on Android and iOS.
- •Verkada is seeking a Mobile Engineer to build and maintain the mobile experience for their Alarms product across Android and iOS.
- •This role focuses on developing high-quality mobile applications for real-time monitoring, alerts, and incident response, as well as device-facing experiences including native Linux-based UIs for embedded products.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain features across Android and iOS mobile applications for the Alarms product.
- •Develop real-time user experiences for alerts, video, and system status.
- •Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and firmware teams.
- •Contribute to embedded / Linux UI development for hardware products.
- •Requirements 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- •Experience building mobile applications on both Android and iOS.
- •Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and performance considerations.
- •Experience working with APIs and asynchronous systems.
