Sr. Software Engineer II - IAM

Senior Software Engineer to drive innovation and resilience across Samsara's IAM platform.

• •Samsara's Identity and Access Management (IAM) team secures access for millions of users and protects the integrity of over 2.3 million connected devices worldwide.
• •This role is crucial for building the foundation of our security posture.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and evolve IAM foundations for AI Agents.
• •Build reliable, standards-based authentication and authorization systems.
• •Propose and implement technical solutions across the stack.
• •Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, and Product Engineering.
• •Support and develop engineers on the team.
• •Requirements 6+ years of experience building and operating production software.
• •Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM systems, threat models, and mitigations.
• •Strong programming/coding fundamentals in Java, Python, or Golang.
