Business Controller Operations

Analyse and steer operational costs and performance to inform decisions and drive optimizations.

• •As Business Controller Operations you will analyse and steer the economic performance of operational delivery for rail services, providing decision support to Operations, Procurement and Management while optimising cost and performance drivers.
• •Key Responsibilities Control and analyse operational production economics for passenger rail services Manage cost and performance drivers (energy, track access, maintenance, fleet, cleaning, waste) Plan, monitor and perform variance analyses, forecasts and business cases Build and improve KPIs, reports and management dashboards Collaborate closely with Operations and Procurement as finance sparring partner Requirements Several years experience in production/operations controlling Strong skills in cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting Proficient with ERP and BI systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI, DWH) Analytical, structured and solution-oriented thinking with data visualization skills Very good German and English language skills
