About the role
Build the security foundation for Hadrian's API Platform by owning IAM systems.
- •As a Staff Software Engineer focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM), you will build the security foundation for Hadrian's API Platform, owning authentication, authorization, and credential automation across complex, multi-cloud environments.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable authentication and authorization systems for human and machine identities.
- •Own Hadrian's authentication stack, including SSO, MFA, OIDC/SAML integrations.
- •Build fine-grained access control systems (RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC) for internal teams, factory systems, and external partners.
- •Develop frameworks and tools to automate credential provisioning and policy enforcement.
- •Requirements 8-12+ years in software engineering with 3+ years focused on identity, authentication, or authorization systems.
- •Deep expertise in modern auth protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and SCIM.
- •Strong understanding of access control models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC).
- •Experience designing IAM systems across multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
