About the role

Build the security foundation for Hadrian's API Platform by owning IAM systems.

  • As a Staff Software Engineer focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM), you will build the security foundation for Hadrian's API Platform, owning authentication, authorization, and credential automation across complex, multi-cloud environments.
  • Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable authentication and authorization systems for human and machine identities.
  • Own Hadrian's authentication stack, including SSO, MFA, OIDC/SAML integrations.
  • Build fine-grained access control systems (RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC) for internal teams, factory systems, and external partners.
  • Develop frameworks and tools to automate credential provisioning and policy enforcement.
  • Requirements 8-12+ years in software engineering with 3+ years focused on identity, authentication, or authorization systems.
  • Deep expertise in modern auth protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and SCIM.
  • Strong understanding of access control models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC).
  • Experience designing IAM systems across multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
