Group Product Manager - Financial Engineering

Lead product strategy and roadmap for finance transformation and process automation.

• •The Financial Engineering team at Coinbase is key to Coinbase's mission to create an open financial system for the world.
• •This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to Coinbase's Chief Accounting Officer, and we are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-motivated product leader.
• •Key Responsibilities Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for finance transformation and process automation.
• •Manage and mentor PMs, setting the bar for product craft, stakeholder management, and technical depth.
• •Lead cross-functional execution of complex, high-impact initiatives including reconciliation tooling and SOX-compliant change management.
• •Act as the subject matter expert on Coinbase's finance operations by deeply understanding accounting, crypto & fiat reconciliation, and treasury workflows.
• •Requirements 8+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years managing other product managers.
• •Computer Science degree or Software Engineering experience.
• •Deep knowledge of financial products, including financial record keeping, accounting pipelines and financial reporting.
• •Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows.
