Senior Software Engineer - Trading

Senior Software Engineer to lead trading system development and technical vision.

• •Coinbase's mission is to increase economic freedom globally, and the Consumer Trading team is central to this by building the world's fastest, easiest, and most trusted crypto trading platform.
• •This role focuses on the IntX product, collaborating with the US Trading team to develop the next-generation trading system.
• •Key Responsibilities Drive technical vision and execution for complex, multi-quarter projects across engineering teams.
• •Lead design and development of mission-critical trading systems, including order management and execution engines.
• •Partner with PM, Design, and other functions to align product strategy with technical roadmaps.
• •Mentor and coach engineers, fostering growth and developing future leaders.
• •Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership roles in large-scale distributed systems.
• •Deep expertise in trading systems (traditional or crypto), including order management, execution algorithms, or risk management.
• •Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries and influence stakeholders.
• •Strong mentoring skills and a passion for building high-performing teams.
