About the role
Manage federal business opportunities and sales strategies in the defense and aerospace sectors.
- •Support the identification and prospect of new federal business opportunities with the government or as a subcontractor to major defense and aerospace companies.
- •Build and maintain relationships with staff and decision-makers within these organizations.
- •Key Responsibilities Support the Director’s successful execution of the Federal team’s strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- •Provide direct support and subject matter expertise to the Federal contracts team on proposal development.
- •Lead the customer onboarding process and keep up-to-date with industry trends.
- •Requirements 5-7+ years of experience in defense/aerospace/maritime industries.
- •Ability to develop deal strategy and contract positioning for defense/federal customers.
- •Track record managing complex sales cycles from initial contact through close.
