Engineering Manager - Storage Systems

Manage and lead engineering for Verkada's embedded and distributed storage systems.

• •Lead a technical team building Verkada's on-camera edge storage stack, responsible for reliability, endurance, and security of local storage and distributed backup infrastructure.
• •Key Responsibilities Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing systems engineering team.
• •Define and execute roadmap with Product, Hardware, Firmware, and Cloud teams.
• •Drive architecture, reliability, and operational excellence for embedded storage systems.
• •Plan and drive project execution and cross-functional collaboration.
• •Requirements BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. 8+ years software engineering with experience leading infrastructure or systems teams.
• •Strong systems programming experience in C/C++ and familiarity with Go.
• •Deep knowledge of file systems, flash storage, Linux internals, device drivers, and embedded systems.
