• 40%: Design and layout photonic components and chips to meet specifications and adapt designs to PDK requirements.

• 30%: Collaborate with fabrication, testing, and packaging teams to provide feedback for iterative improvements.

• 30%: Validate designs by evaluating experimental data and documenting technical work.

🧑‍💻 Profiles Doing This Job

• High Priority: Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Optics with a focus in Photonics.

• High Priority: Experience with optical simulation tools and Python-based photonic layout tools.
