Planqc is seeking an Optomechanical Engineer to join our hardware development team and work on developing advanced quantum computers.

📋 What You'll Likely Do

• 40%: Develop solutions for mechanical, optomechanical, and mechatronic components and modules for our quantum computer.

• 30%: Design complex assemblies, from identifying requirements to detailed design and assembly of first prototypes.

• 30%: Plan and carry out component tests, including detailed documentation and numerical simulation.

🧑‍💻 Profiles Doing This Job

• High Priority: Completed studies in mechanical engineering or similar.

• High Priority: Experience in design and CAD programs (ideally SolidWorks).

• High Priority: Proficient in both German and English.
